The Historical Society is very pleased to announce that its 2019 programme will commence at 7.30 pm on Thursday 28th February at Gwernyfed Rugby Club with a talk by Daniel Moody who is an expert on the Mappa Mundi. Daniel is a professional map maker and has put together a fascinating talk on how the Mappa Mundi was developed, why the River Wye is shown on the map as is the River Nile and to reveal for the first time that Talgarth is also on the Mappa Mundi!
